Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Vietnam – February 27, 2025 – PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC, HNX: PVS), as a Member of  TCPT Consortium jointly signed the Lumpsum Turnkey EPC Contract for the construction of two specially designed ethane storage tanks at Long Son Petrochemicals Complex. The contract will involve the Feasibility Study, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of two full-containment cryogenic ethane storage tanks, each with a capacity of approximately 55,000 tons, maintaining temperatures as low as -90 degrees Celsius. Completion is expected by the end of 2027. The EPC contract signing ceremony marks a significant milestone in the LSP Ethane Feedstock Enhancement Project, a strategic shift to utilize imported ethane from the United States as feedstock, significantly lower feedstock costs, enhance operational flexibility, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reinforcing LSP’s long-term commitment to economic and environmental sustainability in Vietnam.
