On the 31st March 2015, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) had held the granting ceremony at its Headquarter Office for receipt of the Integrated HSEQ Management System following international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 that is certified by BSI – the UK.

The delegations attending the event include: Mr. Douglas Barnes – Consulate General of the UK in HCMC, Mr. Le Duyen Anh – BSI’s CEO, Mr. Pham Van Dung – Member of PTSC’s Board of Director; Mr. Le Manh Cuong – Vice President of PTSC & other Managers of functional divisions and subsidiaries.

With the objectives of continuously improving the quality of services provided to clients and consistently ensuring HSEQ compliance, besides training  skills of the employees and investing in modern equipment, PTSC has established the Quality Management System following ISO 9001:2000 from the early stage of the establishment of the corporation.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Le Manh Cuong – Vice President stated that PTSC has developed the Integrated HSEQ Management System based on the consolidation of three sets of international standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 from January 2014 in order not only to be in line with the restructuring orientation of the Vietnam National Oil & Gas Group (PVN) but also to meet the requirements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of PTSC’s business management to improve its competitive advantages and utilize the resources.

At the event, Mr. Douglas Barnes – Consulate General of the UK in HCMC and Mr. Le Duyen Anh – BSI’s CEO have granted the Integrated HSEQ management Certificate to Mr. Le Manh Cuong – Vice President. Mr. Douglas mentioned in his speech that the ISO & OHSAS systems have been applied in more than 175 countries and these systems have been supporting the business management of various enterprises regardless of the industries they operate in or services they provide across the world to improve their managerial effectiveness. Mr. Douglas also highly appreciated and congratulated the PTSC’s management team on its due interest in establishing and applying international management standards.

The achievement of the certification for the Integrated HSEQ management system has proved the effectiveness and efficiency of PTSC’s management, enhancing the corporate competitiveness in its business operations. During the ceremony, the Management of PTSC also granted awards to individuals who significantly contributed to the establishment and deployment of the Integrated HSEQ management system.
