From March 8 to 10, 2023, PTSC attended the "Wind Energy Asia 2023" exhibition in Kaohsiung, Taiwan - the largest and only exhibition of the wind power industry in this nation. The exhibition attracted approximately 120 booths for this fifth time, with enterprises from Denmark, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Scotland, France, and PTSC being the sole Vietnamese enterprise participating.
By the end of 2022, the Government of Taiwan granted contracts (round 3.1) for 7 offshore wind power projects to generate electricity in 2026-2027, promising a robust service supply chain for the projects mentioned above shortly. As a result of winning an international bid for the fabrication of two offshore substations (OSS) for the Hai Long project as well as the frabrication of wind turbine foundation in Taiwan recently, PTSC is promoting marketing and business development in this market.
At Wind Energy Asia 2023, PTSC discussed with major clients and partners in the wind energy industry to introduce PTSC's activities and business domains, thus extending collaboration opportunities and creating supply chains in the field of wind power in particular and renewable energy in general in this market as well as expanding to other countries in the region.
Within the framework, PTSC leaders also visited and learned about the most modern Offshore Wind farm Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Hub in Asia of Orted, the world's leading wind power developer, located in Taichung, Taiwan.
