From 3rd to 6th May 2015, the delegation of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) led by President & CEO Phan Thanh Tung came to work in Houston, USA to attend Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2015.

OTC is the largest and most important oil and gas event held annually in Houston on the advanced technology achievements in the petroleum and energy sector. This is a forum for the managers, leaders of the oil & gas groups and companies to exchange experiences and share development trends for future oil and gas industry. This year’s event attracts more than 100,000 participants from 130 countries, more than 2,600 companies representing 37 countries and regions with 328 presentations on various topics from upstream, midstream to downstream stages.

While attending the conference, on 4th May 2015, PTSC’s delegation was also present at the 20th anniversary of Vietnam – US relations normalization jointly organized by the General Consulate of Vietnam in Houston and PetroVietnam. The event took place very successfully with the participation of Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh and more than 200 guests from the oil and gas companies operating in the US and internationally. During the anniversary, PTSC’s delegates affirmed PTSC’s willingness to continue maintaining and developing the cooperation with the partners in the oil and gas industry in Vietnam, the United States and other countries worldwide.

During the time in Houston, PTSC’s delegates also had meetings with major partners of the United States such as ExxonMobil, Murphy Oil, Halliburton, GE, Schlumberger ...to promote the cooperation projects between the parties and discuss the orientation towards strengthening the cooperation in the future.
