On December 29, 2021, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC, code PVS) held an online Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to comply with the measurement for Covid-19 pandemic prevention.
General Meeting was chaired by Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Manh Cuong - CEO & President and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong - Vice President with the participation of members of the Board of Management, Supervisory Board, Board of Directors and representatives from PTSC’s functional divisions. The meeting is held to collect vote from the shareholders to approve the proposal for additional business activity to the business license, dismissal one member and electing one new member of the Board of Management.

At the meeting, the presidium presented the detailed proposal, in which the addition of business activity included: electricity production; transmission and distribution of electricity; industrial-renewable energy projects (wind power, solar power, tidal power); construction of other non-buildings to utilize PTSC’s capacity, experience, and strengths that have been confirmed in many projects for oil and gas industry that PTSC has performed. In addition, the new business also promotes energy transition following the trend of a green, clean, sustainable world, increasing renewable energy as well as seek opportunities to increase operational efficiency production and business activities in the context of the decline in oil and gas projects due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the presidium presented a report on the dismissal of Mr. Luu Duc Hoang from the Board of Directors upon his resignation letter and the election of Mr. Tran Ngoc Chuong as a member of the Board of Directors. 

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders 2021 was successful with a voting rate of 98.03% on favor for the proposal for new business activity; 98.03% in favor on dismissing a member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Luu Duc Hoang. With the rate of 95.83% for favor vote, Mr. Tran Ngoc Chuong has been elected as a new member of the Board of Directors.
