The Saigon Times, an English news site of the Saigon Times Group, held the Saigon Times CSR 2023 Merit Ceremony at Rex Hotel Saigon in District 1, HCMC on November 15. At the ceremony, the program organizers honored and presented certificates of recognition to 40 businesses that have made significant efforts in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, contributing to realizing sustainable development goals and creating a better future for the community.

Riding on the success of the previous editions of the Saigon Times CSR program, The Saigon Times launched the Saigon Times CSR 2023 in May of this year in a bid to serve as a platform to foster, preserve and honor businesses with a great sense of responsibility for the local community. This marks the fifth year The Saigon Times has accompanied both domestic and international businesses in spreading good and humanitarian values to the community. Six months after this year’s program started, The Saigon Times received around 100 inspiring CSR stories from Vietnamese and foreign businesses throughout the country. Over 65 of them were featured on our English news website The Saigon Times (english.thesaigontimes.vn) and its sister online newspaper in Vietnamese, Kinh te Sai Gon Online (thesaigontimes.vn).
